A Little About
​Myself.

My name is Hannah Capra and I am a North Shore based artist and art educator who works in printmaking, sculpture and mixed media, while strongly valuing community engagement and accessibility to the arts. I currently hold the title of: Curator of the Salem Art Gallery.

I began working at the Salem Art Gallery in 2023 as a retail worker and artwork handler. I quickly moved my way up the ladder and became Curator of the Salem Art Gallery by 2024. As a curator, I embrace art as activism, and am dedicated to displaying politically relevant art that starts poignant conversation.​ My personal artwork encapsulates femininity and queerness, as I tackle themes surrounding body dysmorphia, gender dysphoria, body hair/odor, and androgyny. Researching the history of women’s physical, mental, and reproductive healthcare has inspired my more recent body of work.....
